Cleaning in Aarhus
We also take on jobs in Aarhus and East Jutland – for businesses, institutions, housing associations and private homes, with over 40 years of experience
Do you need cleaning in Aarhus? Schmidts Rengøring is based at Egelykke 3 in Sønderborg and mainly cleans in the Region of Southern Denmark, but we also take on jobs in Aarhus and East Jutland. We drive out from Sønderborg and plan the work so you get fixed days, regular staff and one contact person.
Aarhus – or Århus, as many still write it – is Denmark's second-largest city and has many kinds of jobs: offices and headquarters in the city centre and at the harbour, new residential and office buildings with large glass façades on Aarhus Ø, education and research around the university and the hospital in Skejby, and many student and family homes where people move every year. We adapt the cleaning to the building and its users.
In addition to regular cleaning, we handle window cleaning up to 29 metres high without a lift, high-pressure cleaning with hot water, cleaning of genuine rugs and construction site cleaning. You can also rent our machines or buy a cleaning robot.
Our services in Aarhus
From the office at the harbour to the flat in the Latin Quarter
Commercial cleaning
Offices, headquarters, clinics and shops in Aarhus and East Jutland. We clean before, after or outside working hours – also at night and at weekends – and follow up with our quality system so the standard holds.
Private home cleaning
Weekly cleaning, deep cleaning, move-out and handover cleaning – in the city-centre flat, the terraced house in Brabrand or the villa in Risskov. Our staff have clean criminal records and have signed a confidentiality agreement.
Window cleaning and stairwell cleaning
We clean large glass façades and high windows with a pure-water system and telescopic poles up to 29 metres high without a lift or ladder. Properties and housing associations can get regular stairwell cleaning weekly, monthly or quarterly.
High-pressure cleaning with hot water
With our Dynajet 500TH – up to 500 bar and 95 °C hot water – we remove algae and moss from tiles, terraces and façades, chewing gum from pavements and oil from car parks and courtyards. Without chemicals.
Cleaning of genuine rugs
Persian, oriental and kilim rugs as well as wool and silk rugs are cleaned gently according to their fibres and colours. We arrange pick-up and delivery in the Aarhus area with you, and you get a free assessment first.
Cleaning robots
Buy or rent a robot vacuum, floor washer or combi machine from eufy. The robot can keep the floors clean in the office after hours or in the flat while you are out. We deliver, set it up and give instructions.
Construction site cleaning
When homes and commercial buildings are built in Aarhus, we tidy up along the way, sort and dispose of construction waste and do the thorough final cleaning, so the building is ready for handover on time.
Facility service
Cleaning, maintenance of green areas and car parks, and winter service with snow clearing and gritting in one agreement. One contact person and one invoice – practical for commercial properties and headquarters.
Machine rental
Rent an industrial vacuum cleaner, floor washer, floor scrubber or hot-water extractor and do the job yourself. The machines are freshly serviced, and we arrange delivery and pick-up in Aarhus with you.
